Featuring: the Parade Street Stompers, a 1910s/20s Dixieland combo!

Through song, dance, and story, Lady Cove will honour the young men of Newfoundland and Labrador who lost their lives during the battle of Beaumont Hamel. We’ll remember the 100th anniversary of the battle with “the concert that never was.” In a concert for the troops – one they never received, For the Boys mimics a variety show that might have taken place to support and entertain those men and boys of the Newfoundland Regiment circa 1916. From WWI era songs and turn of the century Dixieland to the Andrews Sisters’ wartime classic “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy”, the night is sure to take you back in time.
